Hi, I’m Carron Lohnes. I cut hair, teach color, and occasionally break out in song and dance!

I’ve been in the industry since 2010, which means I’ve seen every trend, technique, and toner meltdown imaginable. In 2018, I became the Redken Educator for Washington State—translation: I spent 2.5 years living out of a suitcase, teaching color theory, advanced techniques, and how not to panic when a blonde turns green.

I’ve worked hair shows, trained with the best, and collected a few titles along the way: Redken Color Specialist, Blonding Specialist, Balayage Specialist. Also: Red Whisperer. (Yes, I speak fluent copper.)

Education isn’t a side hustle—it’s the reason I opened Denim & Ivory. I wanted a salon that felt like a creative studio, a safe space, and a bit of a rebellion against the beige status quo. A place where clients feel seen, stylists feel supported, and artistry actually means something.
